Membership is how the shop gets built, run, and kept stocked, and how you get time on a lift. Tiers run from community access all the way to all-access shop time with a vote in how the club is run.

Tier 01 Social

Membership with no included hours, access to shop when open.

$25 / month · $50 per hour lift time.

Access to shop when open, 2 hours lift time.

Must schedule lift time, no prime time, $10 lift prime time, $10 over 2 hours included.

Tier 03 Base

Access to shop when open, 2 hours lift time.

Must schedule lift time, no prime time, $15 lift prime time within two hours, $30 prime time after 2 hours, $15 over 2 hours not prime time.

Access to shop when open, 6 hours, 3 prime time.

Must schedule lift time, $15 lift prime time beyond 3 hours, $30 prime time after 6 hours, $15 over 6 hours not prime time.

Access to shop all times, able to be elected to leadership, 20 hours, 10 are prime.

Access to shop all times, able to be elected to leadership, 20 hours, 10 are prime. Ownership Shares. (Profit decreases dues next year for continued membership.)

Must schedule lift time, $15 lift prime time beyond 10 hours, $30 prime time after 20 hours, $15 over 20 hours not prime time.

Added time: all members can get 15 minutes of lift time by managing for 1 hour. Managers must be trained.

Earn your way

Trade shop help for lift time

Any member can earn extra lift time by helping manage shop hours. Managers are trained first. It's a simple way to put more wrenching back in your pocket and keep the shop running for everyone.

Founding members

Perks for the first crew

Founding members are eligible for added benefits on a case-by-case basis, including:

  • Club ownership shares
  • Royalties & extra shop time
  • Friend discounts and other per-request items

Junior founding members keep the founding-member title, too.

Membership questions

Is the shop open yet?
Not yet. We're in the founding stage, rallying members and securing space. Registering now is how you help make it happen and lock in founding-member benefits.
Do I need to be an expert mechanic?
Not at all. Wrench & Cinder is for anyone who loves cars, from first oil change to full builds. Members learn from each other, and we run clinics to help you level up.
How do I pick a tier?
Start by registering your interest and telling us roughly how you like to wrench. We'll talk you through the tiers, included hours, and everything else so you can choose the right fit.
What does "founding ownership" mean?
Founding members can be eligible for ownership shares in the club, plus other case-by-case perks. It's a real stake in a shop you helped build. Reach out and we'll explain how it works.
Is my interest binding?
No. Registering is free and there's no obligation. And founding contributions, once you join, are fully refundable right up until opening day.
